Anyone on this section of the TET able to bring some petrol? About five litres should do it. Super unleaded preferably.

Bike said 38 miles remaining and the petrol station was only 26 miles away. Apparently that’s in a straight line, which seems a fairly major flaw for a vehicle that uses roads.

Passed a garage earlier but still had two bars, so stopping felt unnecessary. Also spent ages getting past a tractor and didn’t want to throw that away.

Before the preparation police arrive, yes, I carry spare fuel bottles. Three of them. Proper expedition ones.

They’re empty because I didn’t want petrol leaking in the panniers. The plan was to fill them before we got somewhere remote, but it became remote quite gradually.

No, I can’t tell you the road name. There isn’t a road. That was rather the point of the trip.

Happy to reimburse fuel costs. Can do a bank transfer once I’ve moved some money out of savings.

EDIT: Please stop circling the bottles in the photo. I know where they are.

EDIT 2: Someone’s offered to bring regular unleaded. Appreciate the thought, but I’ll hold out another twenty minutes.
